Thought he was the difference between the 2 sides and set the win up with 2 goals an countless goal assists/ blocks/tackles/ knock ons etc.....Just stood out as a player that created goals when the game was in the balance.

Geez he's tough :thumbsu: plays like a battering ram.

Edwards also looks the goods now. He put on that extra weight last year and now won't get rag dolled anymore.

Even Jackson had a good game & was important.

Think him and Gibbs collided not long after the Robinson concussion. Gibbs went off injured. King continued playing like nothing had happened.

Tough as nails is push up. Great role player.

Im still not sure about King.
Edwards for mine is our best FP and going by statistics alone Nahas kicks more goals and lays more tackles than King.

Either way we have some good small forward depth I guess.

Have been saying for a long time that he is so very important to our forward line. It was no coincidence that in the Adelaide game he came off injured and we gave up a five goal lead to lose the game.

Really glad it's the coaches and match committee that decide who plays because I will put my hand up to say when King was playing in defence a few years ago I wanted him sacked. Glad I was wrong about him, easily best 22.

Easily in the best 22, absolutely love him. Looks to have controlled his silly little dummy spits too, at one point on Thursday he was being niggled by an opponent when he was at the bottom of a pack and you could see on his face how much he was trying to restrain himself.

Will be very good for us this year I reckon.

Yep, Kingy plays, and we win. Coincidence?

Bit of an ongoing chuckle for me, cap.

I pointed out a month or so ago that the last time Kingy played rd.1 against the Blues we won and he earned Brownlow votes. Doubt he'll pick up votes this time, but I'll take the win.

He needs to be careful in finals from now on so we have him always ready for rd.1. ;)

Ridiclous thing is, I stil had 'mates' tell me today he was crap and is crap. They just won't listen when I try to tell them what he offers us. People make up their minds about certain players and it's almost impossible to change their minds.
Glad Kingy is in yellow & black.

I was another that when he was in defence, i wanted him gone. At the time, his lack of height was being exposed, his decision making was shocking, his execution was abysmal, and his aggressive attack was over the top and used to cost us dearly. Its quite amazing how he has turned it around.
His speed and ability to make strong tackles are his major strengths.
