G'day this may have already been answered elsewhere but does anyone have any idea on why James Toohey is not on any injury list? I've tweeted geelong cats a few times and all I'm getting is donuts. Has he gone missing or been abducted by aliens

Even if he is a hack or not it's just weird how he is not involved in any conversations re injuries or vfl. We need to send a spy in to get some answers.

Id like to know too.

He had a great first year at the club and Im looking for him to stay in the VFL this year and develop his craft some more.

Pending that, I could see him going his full 3 years on the Rookie list and pushing for an upgrade after that.

He's smart, great size and getting better physically. Hope all is good for him.

I replied in another thread to Daz & Rabbi but James had corrective heart surgery two weeks ago. Can't tell you at this stage whether he'll be back this year. Once I hear more I'll let you know.

Surely we've paid our dues? When you have a serious look at our outs / lost depth over the years & players going, we're doing exceptionally well to be hanging in. I'm looking forward to a change in luck.

Thank you for passing that info on, CB. That's terrible news for the poor young man- I wish him all the best for a speedy recovery.

That news certainly wiped the smile off my face pretty fast. Suddenly don't feel like joking anymore

Poor bugger I really did think it was something out of the ordinary. You have to feel for these kids trying to have a crack at playing a game they love. I hope he recovers well

Rather than go all Eeyore, Seeds, just wait and see what the issue was- then you can go all Eeyore afterward. At least you get more happy days of sunshine and rainbows before the doom and gloom hits!

For all I know, Seeds may be a very happy, well-rounded person. But he's not the first poster I think of when someone mentions "happy days of sunshine and rainbows".
