Tredrea conforming what I had been saying from day one. We low-balled Polec as we weren’t serious about retaining him. Had nothing to do with North or his injury history. I’m owed about a million apologies.

I honestly don't believe the 'different personalities' inside football clubs are that different. They certainly wouldn't stand out in a crowd of randomly selected folk. It's just that football club cultures can be incredibly insular and some personalities and drive it to new levels.

To say Polec is different or werid, now that is weird and different. People that weird and different don't make careers out of AFL.
