Why did we overlook Jason Cloke as back up to Polak in defence? Apparently he is blitzing in the VFL!!! I cannot believe he was overlooked not only by the Tiges but all other clubs. Is he still capable of playing in a key defensive position at the highest standard?

NO! He is only ever going to be a loose man in defence. He may get away with not being accountable in the VFL, but will not/has not at AFL level.

We should look closely at Sam Robertson from Coburg. He is young 19 Y/o or there abouts and is doing well at Full back for Coburg. He has been in the best most weeks, which is positive for a young KPP. I think he is 194cm which is bigger than anybody we currently have (except Polak). He may be a good late draft pick or at least a Rookie opportunity.

Stick with your young guys and pick up some more KPP in this years draft

It is quite amusing. He nearly made that Morrison guy we picked up from Brisbane look good. Played his only good quarter of footy on Jason Cloke.

Jason Cloke may be playing well in the VFL but has little accountability as he zones off his opponent rather than man-up.

So factoring in how Cloke plays into Sunday's game he would not have been a help to us and unless he alters his style of game he has no future at Richmond ... accountability is paramount ... accountable for performance ...accountable for manning-up ... accountable for sticking to the game plan, team rules etc

Cloke will be 26 next year. He will be 30 in 2011.

Our list doesn't need toppping up and it would be very hypocritical of Wallace to get him after yesterdays comments

Cloke is playing wing and utility roles in the VFL - so his good form is a bit of an illusion. Furthermore shorter KP players can thrive in the VFL. At that level 194cm can ruck and 188cm is plenty for key defensive spots.
