On a serious note, when firing he is a class player, he did 'win' for the Norm Smith in 2009. As mentioned he his mates with Pendles, the future captain will be sure to straighten him out. Who knows, with a change in environment, if he finds his best form he will be a huge asset off the half back flank.

There are two sides to every story. Not saying he's not a shit bloke but if Pendles is a mate, then should you question him as well for being friends with such a person??

Big no for mine, having watched more saints games than I care to remember(the missus is a saints fan) I have never really rated him, seems to kick high floaters to no one more often than not, and is not blessed with any really hurt factor.

Would be handy in our VFL side, but is not in our best 22.

He's best mates with Pendles so I reckon the club would have a fair insight one way or the other.

Just on that, Rus is good mates with Jordan Russell and Maxy is good mates with Rus. Those type of connections can help.

He might have been on the outer with St Kilda because of his off-field stuff but was a handy payer a few years back.

That said, Russell being recommended by an inside connection is a bit different to Gram. His head is not in a good space as the articles a few weeks ago showed.

Dont want him. Maintaining our off field standards is critical to our success. Look at Scotland at Carlton, he's still in trouble, and a deafening silence still coming out of that despicable club. We are better than that. From what has been revealed in the media, about his treatment of his girl friend, we dont want or need him at our club. Will be very disappointed if this happens.
