I know we've started covering the man on a few different threads, but i thought he deserves his own thread.

Surely, must be viewed as one of the most improved players in the comp...and is quickly moving into the elite category of mid-fielders. Does anyone disagree? can anyone enlighten us as to the reasons for this? higher work-rate and sky-high confidence i suspect.

Post your thoughts, stories etc here.....

I wear his number on my back with pride!

Seems to know his role to the most particular detail this year and his long kicking really helped to open the game up on Friday night. He looks very fit and looks set for a great year.

On ya Lou!

Heard a few mentions of a lingering leg injury from the end of 2007. Not sure how legitimate but I considered him a far better kick in 06/07 than 08/09 - this no longer seems to be a problem which indicates whatever was hampering him - mentally or physically - isn't effecting him anymore.
In career best form and one of the best midfielders in the competition. Probably the best midfielder that isn't in the Top 5 mids at his club.

Gram has improved out of sight, and without Roo, his role will be so important in order for us to create a good, unpredictable forward line, especially this week in the absence of Kosi. When Gram gets the footy, his penetrating kick is amazing, and this will be a big help in the absence of Nick.

Just quickly, if anyone here caught the whole broadcast of our game V collingwood, did anyone get the song which was playing as the slow-mo's were shown ? It was right near the end of the broadcast.

GUN. Not in our top 3 midfielders but works hard and uses the ball well, generally.
Like his work so far this year. (Y)
