Apparently Jason McCartney has been signed on for some sort of off-field role with the Dockers. Just heard this, but don't have much info.

I can't imagine we need any more coaches, maybe some sort of mentoring role to keep our boys on the straight-and-narrow off field?

He's officially just in town for the academy side, I'm not sure if there's much more to it than that. I could be wrong though!

It's in the west today, McCartney spent a week with the club because he plans to coach down the track and Connolly is keen to provide a pathway for younger coaches.
