Lakers,
just a thought we dont have a great centre half forward and saddington can kick long goals from 55 metres out just try it one game to see if it works.

if he was kicking goals especially from 55m he would already be there

i dont believe it i actually agree with a collingwood supporter.

Sadington has had a plethora of opportunities to prove himself at the top level. It ain't gonna happen

good point probably wont get a chance hes had his chances but if our defence gets to many injuries he might come in

Saddington would only be a short term measure, and who knows if it would work or not. I'm much happier playing the kids, and getting games of AFL footy under their collective belts.

This will pay off for us big time in the medium to long term.

exactly right. Saddington would be a 'PAGAN' measure.......

Need him in ruck while kreuzer and hampson develop.

Is joey anderson injured? could he come in possibly if he isn't?

Whilst I agree with not letting Kreuzer get smashed in the ruck, I believe that Hampson learning his craft, he must be in the ruck more often than not. He still has a lot to learn, but I also get the feeling he is very much a confidence player, and at this early stage, if his confidence is up, we might just see him get back to his early season form, prior to his knee injury.

There's no way that we should bring Saddington in, especially not as a forward.

I would bring Austin in before him.
Agree.
Saddo has had his time, and now is there to contribute to development.
Firstly by training hard and passing on some tips to the younger guys (Saddo was a gun player once upon a time), but also aiding their development by getting out of the way.

Yes, he pinch hit up forward against the Pies and Saints last year, but shouldn't get e gig up there ahead of Edwards, Hartlett, Cloke or even Kreuzer.

If they are unable to then I'd rather Austin come in and either give CHF a go, or play CHB and release Waite up the ground.

Saddington will go at years end. Senior games are wasted chances at developing someone else.
