Who you may ask? Our head recruiter. The guy who has had the task of cleaning up the abortion left by Barry ****ing Prendergast. He's had two drafts with us and he's brought in some gems:
Salem
JKH
Brayshaw
Vandenberg

Plus a few exciting guys we are yet to see like ANB, Petracca and Harmes. Would not be surprised if his other rookies White and King turn out to be players too.

On top of this we've traded in Dom, Jeffy, Frost, Harry O, Cross. He hasn't missed yet, maybe Clisby but he showed a bit anyway.

TBH I think Viney should be getting a lot of praise as well, helped build the core of the Hawks list with Clarko and things aren't looking shabby for our future either if we can develop our guys

No way. A good recruiter is on level pegging with the Coach, List Manager and CEO as the most important person at a football club. You can’t field a competitive side without a good recruiter.

Taylor is clearly better than Prendargast and possibly better than Craig Cameron too (who had some good drafts and some bad ones). I’m happy with his work so far.

If we don't trade our first round pick I reckon we are a lock for either Harley Balic or Rhys Mathieson. Both inside mids, both tough. Balic would be yet another Sandy Dragon on our list. MFC will soon be the Dragons Old Boys. I reckon Weitering will go one and we will likely have a pick in the first five or six. One of these two will hopefully still be around at that mark.

Depends what's on the table really. If we snag a gun or a couple of good players then sure, but there's no need to give up a top 5-8 pick if we aren't getting something good back.
