Nothing personal against Jed, I just don't understand why he's on any AFL list let alone ours and how he managed to play 9 games in 2022. YES 9. Averaged 6.9 disposals. He's SANFL standard. Whomever is responsible for his selection and contract deserves the criticism.

When he actually does something competent on the field it does give me a chuckle though. It happened a couple of times last year, I think he kicked one from about 50m out. Mac and cheeeeese!
My view it's similar because it's relentlessly going after a kid that's been handed a shit sandwich and is trying to make the best of it and has improved over time.
Sure but there is a massive difference between making jokes about someone being a shit footballer, and making death threats and attacks on someone's family. The norf board was truly shocking. I think a lot of the posts from that time are still there if you want to see them.

Playing a position he's not familiar with that's arguably the hardest most thankless position on the ground.
He's still getting the chance to play afl footy. He's probably aware of his limitations but he's living the dream.

I've never met Jed but he's probably a great bloke. I don't believe however that, try as he might, he will make it as an AFL player.

I think I've gradually become a bit of a Jed head. Not because I think he's much of a player but just because he cops way too much on this board relative to about a dozen or more other guys on the list who are as bad or worse.
He was still given that chance. 9 times. That's 9 times more than Taj who was better and younger. Nothing against the guy personally, it's just another one of Donuts pets getting undeserved games.
