That would be pretty fair and a win win for both parties I think.

From a Tigs point of you, I mentioned on our board I would be keen as mustard to get him but not sure we have anything to make it happen with that we could part with.

I think maybe Post & our second rounder for Jeff and a 3rd rounder? Or maybe no 3rd rounder?

I'd prefer it to be brown as once Kerr goes I can see Stevens taking up the slack. However the MC seems intent on palying McGinnity ahead of him and that might lead to him going home at the end of the season

I'm not trying to troll here, but it seems like you guys have got massive list management issues and haven't really learnt from past mistakes. Specifically, knowing that it takes longer for different types of players to develop and not really drafting long-term developing players at the right times. Drafting for need at 10-12 for a big midfielder probably won't help you in the next three years. By the time that player is playing at the level you'd want (to be best 22 in a top 4 side) you'll have lost Scotland, and the likes of Judd and Carrazzo will be on their last legs. You should be looking to recruit somebody like Koby Stevens. Please don't though!
So basically given up on some success in the next few years? Back to rebuilding?
Don't know where you got this given up on success argument from. Mids usually develop faster than talls before they receive and learn to beat a tag. They wouldn't get a tag if they're playing beside Judd, Carrazzo, Murphy, Gibbs, Robinson, Simpson, Yarran and Lucas in 2013 or 2014. You'd be foolish to write off Judd whose body would still be in better shape than Daniel Kerr's.

Read on another footy board that Shane Rogers said on TV that Carlton are going for bigger mids, but not mids alone in this draft. Suspect Warnock, Bower and possibly Russell will be another club next year. JR is a free agent, so he can leave without asking for a trade. We're a chance to have a pick between our first round and our second or third round pick. Josh Toy is supposed to be headed home.

1st round + Mitch Brown/Koby Stevens for 2nd round + Garlett?

With the way wce are playing this year, their first pick will be in the 20s. Most people so far in this thread agree garlett is worth a pick somewhere between 10-12ish. So, to get a pick like 22 then a player player that has played 5(brown) or 3(stevens) games this year and not cracking the firsts, plus the Carlton giving up their 2 pick (maybe pick 34ish) with how it is panning out won't get it done. I can't see Carlton trading him, but if the highest pick we get for a guy that is considered a mid first rounder is like 22 and another fringe player, Then giving up our second, I would be dirty. Won't get it done...
