Wasn't there (TBO) to see sandy myself on Saturday, however i was speaking to a bloke from work who goes to all the Bendigo Games and he said He saw a massive bloke play a fantastic game. when i asked whether it was P.Johnson he said "no, the guy has a funny name" so i asked was it jamah, and he said "yeah, that's him". This guy - my work mate - said he played a corker. Smashed the ruck, as well as moved well around the ground, kicked a goal or two and even showed a bit of toe (speed) at times. I was surprised as hell as i'd given up on the big russian. Did anyone else see his game? Wondering if this fella from work is over-stating it.

He was Ok, wouldnt say he played a corker. Dropped some easy marks from memory and was serviceable

you guys have got to be kidding. jeff white dominates in the ruck and usually destroys the opposing ruckman in the hitouts. his work ethic is fantastic.

Neither Jamar or Johnson have the impact around the ground that Jeff White has, he is a fantastic ruckman, but he also gets a fair bit of the ball around the ground and is great to watch.

Shit hey some of you blokes dont mind given a burn to a bloke. Im not a great fan of Jeff myself but the man has put in 10 years or so as first ruckman and as our second ruckman alot of the time. Yeah he can be lazy but there arent to many ruckmans that arent. He does get alot of easy possetions around the ground and most of the time he uses them like a midfielder. Give the bloke a break.
I think it would be good to play a couple of the younger blokes Neaves and Johnson in the last few weeks and let Jeff play out of the forward 50 for a couple of games then some of you blokes might rethink the mans value to the club.
On a leaving note would we like a ruckman who can kick the ball to position as well as his other duties or one who handpasses as soon as he gets it because he knows if he kicks it aint going to go where he wants it to. I for one dont want a big dope like that who should be playing basketball.

No doubt whites footskills are top class when compared to other ruckmen. I'd say he would even use it better than cox

Usually play 2 ruckman, Paul Johnson has been the second ruck most of the year. And with his 250th this week they might have wanted to give him a rest. I also think the plan for the rest of the year is to get whoever is able to play ready to go for Neita's 300th against the pies.
