Great first round for our Presso, Jeff. Always one to attract attention to the media. And imagine what a money spinner that jacket will be at auction come season's end. And I hope our Hawk's Nest Shop has stock .. I'd buy one. And it is silk too.
Already the media have gone into a frenzy - HS article, enjoy ....
Kennett's battle jacket
03 March 2006 Herald Sun

JEFF Kennett has added another fashion statement to his wardrobe – a brown and gold jacket that will be worn to Hawthorn matches during his presidency.
Kennett recently asked the tailor who made his lairy checkered-flag grand prix number to design a Hawks-inspired jacket.
It has been made as reversible apparel, with Kennett to wear it as part of his club suit before turning it inside out after each victory.
The player deemed the Hawks' best in all the club's wins will sign the jacket after the game.
"If we lose, it will stay hidden," Kennett told the yesterday.
"Where we win a game I will have the player that is adjudged best on ground for that match sign the coat so that will become a record of our success for 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009 . . .
"And at the end of my presidency I will give it to the club as a memento of our success or failure."
"Now, there are those rude enough to suggest there will not be many signatures on the jacket, if only a signature represents a winning game.
"I, on the other hand, believe there will be many signatures on the jacket and I look forward to the day there is a signature representing a grand final victory."
Kennett, in his first year as president, has committed to the role for the next three to five years. "I suspect our best chances of winning a grand final will be years three to five," he said.
"This year will hopefully be a better one (than 2005), next year better again and then I think we will be a real show."
Paul Cohen, of Berkeley Apparel in Sunshine, has designed Kennett's jackets.
The grand prix coat was unveiled in March 1997 when Kennett was premier and sold last year for charity.
"I asked him to make this one because I needed a successor for the grand prix jacket," Kennett said. "It will be a bit of fun."
