Certainly can. His VFL stats are at the very least compelling for a 20 year old.

Dew's selections and midfield rotations are in general bewildering so I wouldn't read too much into his numbers on paper at AFL level.

I know he has talent but id rate Acres higher than him at the moment who went for F3, would a 3rd round pick get it done?

A F2 comes into the equation as package with Corbett.

But could be silly buggers time with all sorts of pick swaps because Gold Coast have a plethora of picks between 25 and 55 this year.

I think we’ll offer a F2. It might be F2pp (from north)

But we can still get a bunch of downgraded picks back.

As a neutral, does that not seem like unbelievable overs for a pick 27 3 years in who cant get a game? GC set the price as a contracted player but i'd have though our own future 2nd was pretty generous as it was. Your future 2nd has to be a walk away type price I'd hope

Yeah your future second is about right but I can see why they are asking for the pp future second due to the contract

Suns prefer to keep Sharp. It would have to be overs. Interestingly, there was no official request from Sharp, AFAIK. I bet he is frustrated that he did not play regularly.

Yeah, I’d argue our future 2nd is overs given his current output

To be honest we need one purely outside mid with Acres leaving. I think he will be a fantastic pick-up if we got him.

Sounds like this one doesn't get done this year. Maybe next year.

Seems to be a bit of a trend this year that teams are trying to hold onto to their contracted players despite not giving them much game time. My own team included.
