Melbourne should trade him while he has currency, it's clear he wants to go home to WA.

He won't lose currency next year. If he was adamant about going for personal reasons I'm sure Melbourne would work with Freo for a fair trade. I guess we'll see what happens over next 2 weeks.Melbourne should trade him while he has currency, it's clear he wants to go home to WA.
SaltI'm not even fussed if we lose Hogan. Key forwards are the least important players outside rucks these days. Last 2 premiers have had pretty average rucks and Boyd and Reiwoldt as the only key forwards.

Whatever Melbourne pay for Lever they should expect something similar for Hogan. What would he be worth on the trade table?
Hogan's a #1 Key forward and contracted therefore worth far more than Lever. Not that he's leaving anyway.Whatever Melbourne pay for Lever they should expect something similar for Hogan.

If Hogan wanted to leave, would you be open to trading him or would you make him play out his contract?Hogan's a #1 Key forward and contracted therefore worth far more than Lever. Not that he's leaving anyway.
Most over used words by simpletons on this website who are trying to troll. Ive had the same opinion on key forwards for a while now.Salt
Melbourne seem happy to go with 10 and 27 for Lever , not sure if that would be enough for Hogan.
Maybe 5 and Fremantle 2018 second round pick?
It would be 2 first rounders and Balic. Lever would cost more if he was in contract but he aint.
So if Fremantle managed to get say pick 12.
Hogan for 5,12 and Balic?
That seems fair, and then 5 for Lever is about spot on I'd say.Melbourne seem happy to go with 10 and 27 for Lever , not sure if that would be enough for Hogan.

Yeah I cant see us getting much more than that, maybe a swap of seconds or something but really how much could we ask?
Atlhough I reckon it would be this years first and next years first. We paid 3+13 to get Hogan in the mini draft.
If true, it’s pretty concerning if Hogan thinks Watts’ application is A-ok.Jay Clark reporting Hogan met with Nat Fyfe in Fremantle, not happy Watts is being traded.

Depends on where the firsts are. If one of them is a top 5 pick, I'd expect Freo to get something back.Yeah I think next years draft picks are going to be hard to get. I definitely think Hogan is worth 2 firsts and Balic
