With Close most likely gone, and with Galt definitely gone, we only had Moore and Cox left. He needs to stay.

He's also been our best KPF this year.

No doubt he will remain a pie even if it is on yearly contracts for the next two or three years, history shows he seems to play better towards the back end of his contract period. They also need to continue to develop his game behind the ball, it gave him a lot of confidence at the start of the year playing down back.

Hope to see him again next year, to build on his form of this year, and especially his confidence. Jesse will never be a game breaker, but his confidence grew this year, and deservedly he knows he belongs in our best 22.

I am surprised he hasn't got an extension yet. Is it normal for a club to wait until seasons end to discuss contracts with a player like Jesse?.

I thought he was 'toast' at the start of the year, but his fought back well and become a much more rounded player.
