Did Karl change the facial appearance of Jessica's mother? Jessica didn't seem to recognize her from the photos taken of her and was still unsure of who she was when they first met.

The show itself is okay but I'm becoming underwhelmed by the quality of Netflix original shows. They're not bad but they're far from being great either. I think it'd be for the best if they cut out some of the episodes (make it around 6 or 8 instead) and focus on writing a good season long story arc. They're not a network, they don't need to churn out 13 episodes to pad out a tv schedule for the year.

Yes I believe he did because her face was so disfigured and when she saw it she reacted like she didnt know who she was. I wondered as well why Jessica didnt recognize her, but that explains it.

Pity we didn't get to see the character's original face before the incident, that would've cleared up the ambiguity quick smart.

Netflix does great shows, I think it's just Marvel/Netflix series that are underwhelming for the majority. I've only enjoyed DD & The Punisher season 1.

Season 2 was ok without reaching any great heights. Jessica is such an awesome character even with average story lines.

I think s3 will be quite interesting with Trish finally transforming into Hellcat.

One thing I really like about this series is that they do not overdo the action/fighting scenes. The come organically. Not just shoehorned in.

However, I would love to see a Jessica Jones/Frank Castle team up at some point. Think they would be awesome together.

Personally I think they need to stick with what they set up in S1 as the Marvel Max entry, because it's largely where Jessica shines, the second she becomes mainstream or "street" in a marvel sense is the second she simply becomes Luke Cages wife and pumps out a kid when she is much more than that as a character. Or she emulates Patsy in a way as being a woman looking for a man which is what we basically saw in S2 with her, whilst S1 was more random fling with Luke.

I just don't see her role in it TBH. She's an addict with an inferiority complex who has a moment at the end, given the plot points they've already touched base on, there's really nothing in her catalogue that denotes a team up without going into Strange's universe.

They don't match for mine Frank is a lot of grey, Jessica is still neutral good at least.

She tagged a lot of Spideys villains, so I can see them using the Heroes for Hire cabal of lesser knowns, guys like Paladin, Typhoid Mary & Constrictor for example could pop up, same with Whiplash as a poorly used iron man villain, so they can still has Jessica solo a movie.

Given Hellcats inevitability, I'd more suggest Hellscream to reach into Stranges movieverse a little and tie it to Iron Fist & DD with the spiritual side.

I just want JJ and Luke to end up together like the comics

Instead we have Luke with the village bicycle

And JJ with sensitive janitor man

:(

Sensitive janitor man and suicide kid now screening on ABC.

Finally finished it, pleasant enough time waster I guess but man they gotta cut these shows down to 10 eps, 13 too many and the filler eps stick out like dogs balls in every Marvel netflix show.

Trish ugghh so annoying, was hoping she'd die at the end there :p

Bit of a struggle I reckon without Killgrave as the big bad.

However, I would love to see a Jessica Jones/Frank Castle team up at some point. Think they would be awesome together.

Ha same, said it to the missus about halfway through.
