With Kosi resigning with the saints who is our next uncontracted player we should target? Word is Jimmy Bartel is far from happy with the Cats latest offer! Could he be heading to the Blues via the PSD? Good chance I say

I think around the $300k mark. While a ruckman or backman would be great I think we have bigger problems with our lack of depth in the midfield. I think we should go for Bartel with our PSD pick & maybe trade for a Brogan with perhaps Campo going home! If not Brogan maybe sound Jeff White out since Melbourne may have interest in Lance. Thoughts?bibi01 said:what money are geelong offering him?
i'd prefer to spend money on a KPP- backmen (michael) or ruckmen (brogan)
dee_molisher said:JEFF WHITE. In your dreams. You really think that Melbourne would be interested in trading White for Whitnall who is struggling at Carlton. And you'd imagine White wanting to play out his career wondering if he'll ebver play in a winning side again. You blues are all the same. Nick a player who is going to be something in the future other than another player at the end of his career.

wow with such a team full of champions it's a miracle the dees aren't challenging for the flag every year ! remind us again when was the last time the dees actually won a flag . Jeff White is struggling big time and i don't believe he would be any better at Carlton than he is at the dees. maybe we will take Brad Green off your hands...say for David Clarke ??dee_molisher said:Really! That is a bit drastic isn't it? - either your predicting great sucess for Carlton in the next two years or somehow Melbourne is going to loose half its side and sink to the realms of obscurity. Nah! Our younger players are showing more promise and we aren't a side patched up with other clubs rejects and the way it is going, it next year being an even year is promising. Ha ha. But seriously, apart from a sudden form slump, you really reckon that Bruce, Yze, Johnstone, McLean, Sylvie, Green and Davey isn't a half decent running side that isn't going to be around for some years and all except Johnson have signed for the next few years. Yeah right. Perhaps you could swap Pagan for ND. He'd have a field day with some real talent to work with.![]()
And who hasn't won a premiership for 50 years?dee_molisher said:And who is on bottom of the ladder and flogged week in and week out?
What does this have to do with Jimmy Bartel?dee_molisher said:And who is on bottom of the ladder and flogged week in and week out?

We are running out of good players to choose from with all these guns re-signing for their current clubs.
Maybe not much quality, if any, will be available come draft time.

Still only 27 (28 end of September)
Out of contract at years end,
we had a snip at him a couple of years ago.
For one of the older ones (Campo, Lappin)?
Re-signed this season so is unlikely to be traded.igt22265 said:- M.Hahn: 188cm/96kg; inside midfielder from the WB
Do agree with this one though,
he is built like a bag of briquettes and runs in straight lines.
Could cause all sorts of damage if given licence.
