mitchell played crap, ling smashed him, they cant all play awesome. he was far from our worst, i think it's a bit harsh. the midfield got us more inside 50's and possesions etc. the forward line didn't look dangerous today, varcoe, stokes were never there and we missed all the opportunities, so we lost.

He was missing in the Collingwood game earlier this year as well. Ablett still had a blinder in a 80 point losing team but Bartel was no where.

He has turned the ball over a bit this year, and for whatever reason he doesn't seem to get forward as much as he did.

Agree, I wouldn't put Corey in there with Ablett. Shankalicious is his favourite song now.

I doubt we would have more than 6 players who played at their season's form, the rest were attrocious.

So what, Jimmy wasn't the one who kicked us out of the game. It's easy to put the blame on him in hindsight. The bloke has had an awesome year and could be excused for not being his usual productive self. As someone's said, look at Mitchell, he did f*** all. Leave Jimmy alone. If our forwards had kicked straighter you wouldn't be talking about Jimmy.
