I know he's been besting lately and has that cult following/hype thing going on, loved by bulls fans and begrudgingly respected by opposition fans, but... I'm of the opinion that Joakim Noah the best player in the league who averages less than 15ppg, bar none.

Thoughts? Nominations?

He's a top 10 NBA player at the moment there I said it.

I hated the guy up until now, but he's really earned my respect since Rose went down. Everyone expected the Bulls to just die this season when Rose went down and Deng was moved. But Noah has constantly played hard, he has done everything he can on both ends to get the win and he's had some huge scoring and passing games. Clearly idolising Garnett has rubbed off on him (in before do you ever not mention Garnett?).

There's a reason why Chicago kept him.

I'd have him in front of Dragic and his impact defensively would make him versus Harden debatable although I haven't really paid much attention to Houston lately.

Thought he was unbelievable in the playoffs last year, and he's playing in a similar vein again during the back half of this season. It's great to watch a player who obviously cares about winning more than anything else - watching Eric Gordon, the contrast between the two couldn't be more stark.

Great to see him getting recognition.

I think Noah is pretty clearly better than all of those guys. Actually don't think it's that much of a stretch to say Noah is the best player avg >20ppg - with the possible exception of Dwight. Although Noah did alright against Dwight today..
