Hey M29, ill be honest you are reasonably new and i dont really remember you if we have talked about Oasis in the past. But yes they do kick ass.

Do you have all there albums?

Yes I am new to BigFooty, only post on the Essendon board though.
I was bored one day reading the posts and came across you mentioning Oasis. Yes, I'm a huge fan got all the albums, few singles and some bootlegs courtesy of Napster as well as most of the video clips. :D

Well M29, i have all there albums too even though i think they have gone downhill since Definitely Maybe and Whats the Story. I still love Be Here Now and SOTSOG but there just not as classic as the first two albums. Apart from the fact that those two albums have a few of my favourites like All Around the World, Dont Go Away, Magic Pie, Whe Feels Love and Where did it all go wrong.

But nothing they have done stands up to the first two albums, every song on the first two are absolute classics. I also love the best of the B sides album. That would be my third favourite album with songs like Aquiencse and Talk Tonight. Anyway im rambling right now so im gonna go answer some other stuff.

Later man.

I didn't mind some songs on Be Here Now, Don't go away is a classic I still don't know how that wasn't released here as a single. The Masterplan is probably the best thing they've released since whats the story... The new live version of Aquiecse of Familiar to Millions is unreal. :D

Is Familiar to Millions worth getting, it just looks like a best of?

Anyway i agree, The Masterplan is definitely there best since Whats the Story and Definitely Maybe. What do you think about Little James on SOTSOG, first Oasis song not written by Noel?

I got the tabs for it the other day and enjoy playing it, its a good song but lyrically it doesnt stand up to Noels writing.

Little James was an ok song. Nothing compared to Noels stuff.

Familiar to Millions is great, and isn't that expensive so I'd recommend getting it. When I get my DVD Player I'm getting the DVD of the concert as well.

I think i will get it in the long run, but i will wait until i get my hands on a dvd player. Not worth getting the video of it and then getting a dvd player.

What are some of the other bands you get into?

The DVD comes with a few extra features, behind the seens stuff multiple camera angles etc.

As for my other fave bands, anything british really.

So your posting from the UK?

I love Coldplay, good new music, great album hardly a foot wrong on Parachutes. Cant get into Blur, they were like supposed to rival Oasis but there music just paled in comparison.

If you are from England have you ever seen Oasis live??
