The post on X from his Podcast News a/c has got a community note on it now - took a couple of days. Most of the replies to the original post that I read were pointing out what a dumbf**k Rogan is, so maybe there are more good people than it seems - or is it just my algorithm? There are some people in the mainstream of Aust. media (eg Parnell Palme McGuiness) who think the ABC should learn to do news like Joe Rogan.

He has some polarising opinions when it comes to health and well being
When I first watched it was back in days before he had a dedicated studio to work in. He was doing Bigfoot, and I'm sure he had already covered it before. Him and Bobo the 'Squatch' guy seemed to know each other well. Anyway he was doing the same thing, passively approving of whatever nonsense was being said.

You have people like Paul Miller and John Minadeo who are like that too. Miller in particular is a weird one because he has Romani, Indian, and Turkish ancestry. And then of course you have Kanye.
America is so diverse now it has nazis who aren't even European, let alone Aryan. The very first people the fuhrer would be getting rid of. I guess they think they would be spared from the one drop rule? That's never the case though, since there always has to be a witch hunt. An other. That's why they are all infighting now.
Just an immense amount of people with self hatred that really could have just seen a therapist.

I watch the occasional Joe Rogan episode, his whole show is built on bullsh$t and misinformation.
credit to him he has massive audience & he is the biggest podcaster in the world.
But I doubt most people believe half stuff he says. entertaining though.

I think he tries his best but he isn’t really equipped with the knowledge to interpret and understand data which leads him astray with some polarising opinions

Nah. Before Covid at least he had some real scientists on like Brian Cox or Neil DeGrasse Tyson and listened to what they said.
Now he solely platforms conspiracy theorists and yes men.
It's been said about Fox as well...
People listen or watch anything long enough, they start to, at minimum, sympathize with the message, look at wrestling and televangelists. Some people actually believe that shit.
