gun.

340k for 103 DT average this year.

Doesn't attract a tag because he's totally uselss on the offensive side of his game.

He is far from useless on the offensive side. He doesn't get tagged because theres too many that need to be tagged.

he has improved a lot this year. Used to be a bit of a down hill skier but his work in and under is terrific now and his disposal has definitely improved as has Corey Enrights. Both maligned a few months ago on this board.

Anyone else confused by this post?

You've called him a gun... and then used Dream Team stats to base your point of view. :o

Then you've changed your point of view with that last comment.

Great to see other teams think that. :D

Seriously underrated by opposition, and working much harder this year. Great to have a player like Corey that can step up when Bartel and Ablett are getting heavy tags.

Watching the replay on Foxtel - absolute lifesaver, this bloke. We would have been in a worse mess in the second quarter without him - played excellent footy all day!

The problem for Joel is that there will be other midfielders that will attract attention away from him in regard to AA selection.

That and he might be 3rd best attacking midfielder in our team which would mean he struggles to make the top 4-6 in the league to get in the AA side.
(Gaz and Jimmy are ahead of him and then it is probably between him and selwood for attacking and lingy for tag ballanced with some offense)
