Striking. is that even the right charge for the incident?

Rough conduct I can see but he did not strike.

Good to see the dirty players from Hawthorn get off for more gut punches. Where was this 'The impact was below that required to constitute a reportable offence.' when Ling was getting charged for the same thing?

Considering the sniper lewis flattened Selwood when he punched him in the face I wonder how they determine that was OK. Another crock of shit from the MRP

Yep, complete bullshit. Twice now that ******** has been let off for clearly punching someone.

Anyone got YouTube footage of that incident? I didn't see it at the game and haven't seen it since.

I would but I don't know what software to use to cut it.
Cheers, but I just saw it on the news. Not too sure how he gets off for that - he has a proven track record of doing this exact thing, surely that is what the extra point loading is in place for, to prevent repeat offenders, and you won't find an offender who repeats as much as old Jordy...

TBH I really didn't think there was much in that at all - thought it was more of a shove which Joel milked.

Should have just gone the gut punch, perfectly fine no matter how many times you do it right.

None of the incidents warranted looking at. More examples of the MRP trying to justify themselves.

I understand people being annoyed, but it was late, and high. Had to be looked at. Only thing that confuses me is the "striking" charge, as someone has already said. More rough conduct than striking.

Is that the bump after the ball?

1. Wasn't a strike. (front-on bump)
2. Didn't get him high. (head snap from unexpected contact).
3. Didn't do any damage. (Shiels got up after a few seconds).

Should have just been a 50m penalty. Challenge it.

(PS: Just so Diablo's got no ammunition next time I accuse him of defecting to us.......Selwood should have gone for his deliberate knee to Kennedy).

We've accepted reprimand and the 70 points.

So that's five players now that will have points hanging over their heads throughout the finals. :(

Just re-watched it.

Basically it was an elbow to the chest. Striking, my ass.

Again the MRP shows it is softer than butter.
