Joel Smith???

I really like Joel Smith as a player, I thought I read some where that he was not happy at all at Hawthorn, I haven't heard his name thrown around much in the first half of trade week, but I really think that this would be huge if we could lure Joel down the high way. He would be able to be our third defender and when not needed as a negator, he could be a very damaging back flanker penetrating the ball in to our forward line.
If we dont not manage to land a forward (which I would be very shattered if it didn't happen), I think that Joel Smith would be an excellent pick up.

We don't need Smith, granted he is a good player but he wants too much money and our backline is pretty good, we have tim callan coming through remember. Plus i dont think he had a hard ball get all last year, wouldnt fit into our tough backline.

Why do we need someone to run out of the backline and deliver to the forwards? We have Milburn, Sando and the best of the best at this Josh Hunt, as well as Scarlo and Harley's tendency to run up the ground. Joel Smith is good, but he wouldn't get a game at Geelong.
