Look, the idea of drafting him in any capacity as a ploy to keep Kurt at the club is just silly. Hopefully most people are joking with those comments.

With that said i wouldnt be disappointed if the club drafted him in as a rookie (if that's still possible?) on potential. We know about Kurt, and his sister is reportedly an exceptional basketballer. Joel is reported to be very athletic for a tall. With that sort of family sporting pedigree and athleticism i'd be curious to see how he went playing in the SANFL with the AFC spending some time developing him.

Kurts brother aside, it takes a while for those basketball/athletic type converts to develop. It wouldn't be such a bad thing to have a look into him to see if there is something there?

It's one of those small price - high reward type potentials.

Joel will be evaluated and rated like every other player, the romance of Joel joining our club or the relationship with Kurt will not be a factor in the decision making

I just cant see it happening, however I would like Joel to join an sanfl club so he is close to his brother
