Hey guys, whats up with Johncock? Hasn't played since R16! Is he likely to return soon?

Need to know for my Supercoach team :)

he carved for port today.
but no one really knows the reason as to why "hes not in the right state" to play.
so yeh. who knows.

Who’s McDonald?

Johncock is an unknown entity at the moment – apparently it’s up to the playing group when he returns.

Don’t know at this stage as form was only one reason he was dropped.

wasn't the main reason similar to that of Burgoyne. they are close cousins.

if Reilly isn't fit to play next week (because Knights will miss at least 1), we could see a youngster given a go...perhaps Petrenko. and i would not assume Johncock is a certainty to return next week, but i wouldn't be happy if he was kept out any longer (unless i knew the real reason to his indefinite club suspension).

Johncock in for Porp. He kicked 3 goals 2day and Porp has gotta give his body a rest for a week.

No.

Johncock kicked 3 goals last week too, didn't come in, hey he might come in, but I doubt it.

Porps likely won't need to give anything a rest, the only doubt of him playing is whether he is still concussed.

Porps will play, he is too tough to sit out a match.

It will be an interesting time at selection this week.

Is Reilly fit? - Id probably give the ******** another week.

Johncock has served his penance - In for Knighta

Does Goody need a rest? - If he does then this is the week to do it and give Ottens another crack.

footnote:( I say that with all due respect for Richmond because the minute we assume this weeks game will be a walk in the park, we will go belly up)

Is Griffin still in our squad - he seems to have vanished like a fart in a fan factory:eek:

My limited understanding is that it remains in the system for around 3 weeks. Which means we could well see the lad back this week.

Yeah well that's my understanding too.. I dunno, I heard that to be the case with the 2 of them rocking up to training in a bad state. Can't confirm and don't want to get anyone else in trouble esp if not true.

Like most sc'ers I'd like my Stiffy back for the weekend. I'm not sure what the go is at the Crows but 2 weeks is enough when you are still in contention for a top 4 spot and Stiffy is required for a serious finals tilt. But it comes down to club culture. It's always interesting to see how these things pan out at different clubs. I mean, we suspended Hally "indefinitely" for his 2nd brain-fade, but as soon as micky-O went down there was never any doubt he would come in. Heath Shaw should get suspended by the Pies but will he when they are struggling for a spot in the finals?

porps and knight out, reilly( if fit) and johncock in? what about tippett?

Richmond have a lot of tall marking forwards. We may have to play Moran in defence for a large portion of the game to help cover them.

If that's the case and conditions suit then maybe Kurt will come back in.

Dunno, we've got Rutten, Bock, Stevens and Basset as KPD's, don't really think we'd need Moran in defence as well.

Maybe not for the whole game but could cover others in rotations in between stints in ruck. Richmond probably have more tall forwards than any other team and they are all in pretty good form at the moment.
