I would have thought you had an obligation to the de-listeds to make things as public as early as possible to allow them the best opportunity to seek a new home. Keeping our powder dry with these 3 is hardly advantageous to the club.

Interesting scenario really .

In an age where the corporation takes precedence over everything , interesting to see the skipper take an opportunity to publically acknowledge the contribution of his "soon to be former" team-mates ... a luxury rarely afforded to players these days .

I tend to think it was a bit of a stand against the system , but that is not based on anything factual just a hunch .

Be interesting as you said to see if there is any fallout

Rodan does not deseve to play on, useless to the team, he isnt the talent that everyone thinks he is, he cant kick, cant do all these fancy tricks that he always tries to pull off when he gets the ball, he tries but gets caught EVERY single ****ing time. Roach too hasnt shown much, but out of the three he probably deserves another chance more but still better off delisted, none of them are up to it

Don't think luck had much to do with it.

Rumour is he has been told to keep himself fit so it would be no surprise to see him rookie listed, or at least playing at Coburg and training with RFC a lot. In all honesty I think the best thing for him to do would be the Tuck route and go play interstate for a bit.

Club needs to tell the truth. No spin, no rubbish, nothing. Come out make an official statement to that effect, have an apology in the statement from Kane Johnson and thank the players for the time they had at the club. This is the correct way. They should not waste time trying to cover this up. they should show some balls and do it right- besides what they decided is actually the correct decision on all the players.

Rodan - Believed he was still contracted so thought we might keep him for one more year, but no loss.
