First off I would like to congratulate Geelong on the entertaining football you showed last night. It would've been much better coming from the eyes of a neutral but still congrats.

Heard on the radio about Stevey having a great week in the ressies and apart from stats looked very fit. If injuries were to struck you guys down prior to round 6 would the supporters want him in the side?

I don't think it is a matter of whether or not we want him in the side. I think most of us do. But we have respected the fact that the club have come down heavily on a serial offender.

But gee he looked good in the VFL yesterday.

Steve spent a lot of time in the midfield yesterday, the next 6 weeks will do wonders for his fitness. Hope he serves his penalty and gets hungry for AFL while hes doing it.

Yeah, but have to say, while he's gone it's been a good chance to play our newbies or other assorted players.

Id love to see Johnson back but at the same time i think it best he serve his suspension.

We dont need him right now, here is an opportunity to give the young guys liek Varcoe and Djekurra some run and ten when Johnson is back send one of those guys back to the reserves and let them do their apprenticeships.

good ole sautner kicks bags in the VFL and a "seriously outta form" yze can rack up large numbers. SJ won't be in the midfield in the seniors nor will he be unaccounted for in the F50 like he was on saturday.

pragmatic, i know. still good to see him performing somewhat.
