We owe a big thanks to jolly, his departure from the swans came at the perfect time for us. It allowed us to target mummy and we could only have hoped for it to turn out as well as it has. it seems like mummy may have passed jolly this year as well.

It's no surprise our form as a team has lifted since mumford stepped it up, its pleasing to see mumford's worked through his knee injuries as well, I was getting worried there for a while that his knees would really limit his future output.

Bottom line, I couldn't be happier with how things panned out, mummy ended up being an upgrade, he'll be around and at his peak when we have a genuine crack at a flag. And collingwood/jolly dint do too shabby either win/win.

Jettas not a bad set of steak knives either.

TOTAL WIN

Mumford has so much more mobility and can actually get to a contest and be apart of it as well as run and carry AND TACKLE! No need to mention his hit outs!

Not to mention hes a total babe!

LOVE MY MUMMY!

and Jetta will only get better with time and hes still super exciting!

Jolly was fantastic for us. Was good, solid ruckman, but i'd have Mumford any day of the week over him, he has the potential to be the best ruckman in the league, but i dont think he'll end up being as durable as Jolly was.

Yeah, let's not re-write history, Jolly was fantastic for us, and better than he's been at Collingwood (it's a perfect example of a player being noticed more at a bigger club). As much as I hate Jolly now, let's not undervalue his contribution while he was here. He was magnificent.

Mumford has still been an improvement, so we got really lucky out of it. We also used the later pick as part of the Kennedy and McGlynn trade. But really, when you examine the trade, the Jolly deal still screwed us over.

He was fantastic from 2007-2009. Let's not rewrite history and say he was amazing before then.

Actually, he was fantastic in 2006 (except for, well, we all know when) as well, and solid in 2005 as an understudy to Ball. Don't just go off stats, the ruckman's role in a team has changed drastically many times, you often can't compare stats across two different years to say one year was better than the other (just compare Mumford's stats this year to last to see what I mean).

I don't know what more you could ask for. One year as a good second ruckman, and at least 3, I'd say 4, years as being fantastic in the first ruckman's role. And I hate the guy (well, not quite "hate" but you know what I mean)!

I love Jolly, and was a broken man when he left.

But Mummy has filled the void times ten for me. Love how he goes about it, and I hope he spends the rest of his career at the Swans.

You big curley haired man ;)

Hard to imagine that we went from a team that looked ordinary without Jolly, to a team that has an emabarassment of rucking talent. Mummy, Seaby, Pyke and even Jessie did Ok as a 3rd string ruckman Vs Geelong. Throw in LRT and hell, we need to think about trading one or two of them!!!

If only we used the pick we got for Jolly to draft Fyfe instead of Jetta we'd have an absolute gun midfield but at least we recruited Mummy to fill the void left by Jolly.

Best possible result considering the hole that we might have had in the team when he dumped us. So happy with Mummy.

I haven't really forgiven Jolly for the ownage West Coast had over him in the 2006 GF. But looking back on it now, I now chiefly blame Hawthorn for refusing to trade us Everitt which probably left us undermanned in the 2006 Granny more than anything.

I figure whether Jolly attended the birth or not, he was still going to be useless in that game either way.
