Article from WC website: JON out for two months

Second year rookie Jarrad Oakley-Nicholls faces a delayed start to the season after fracturing a bone in his lower leg in a WAFL practice match at the weekend.

The popular half-forward, who joined the club’s rookie list after several years with Richmond, was in good touch but now will be sidelined for up to eight weeks. He is recuperating at home from surgery and will be on crutches for several weeks.

Will make it tough for him to do much this year, so unfortunately it might be curtains for him.

Two months is 8 weeks of football. No questions he would need to produce something special in the second half of the season to remain on the rookie list in 2012.

Well thats good news, when i saw him come of, thought he had done his ACL.

Attention Royal Eagle...Attention Royal Eagle. Please report to the "WAFL Watch 2011" thread, and kindly divulge everything of interest you witnessed at the game. :D

i'd have to agree, i cant see him forcing his way onto the senior list now.
