Just a few questions about Jon Hay. As you know, McIntosh for us wont last much longer and if you look at the WC list, there is no one to replace him.

1. When does Hay's contract expire?
2. Does he still want to come back home?
3. If he did, who would you want for him?

I know that he is a great player for you guys which is why Im hoping that WC can lure him back

But seriously, I heard that he has settled down over there and I can understand if he wants to stay at the Hawks.

I have a feeling his contract is up at the end of the year. I read an article a month or so ago where he said he wants to play his footy in Melbourne and only go back west when he retires - which is great for the Hawks

He was given some extra time back home in the pre-season to see his family and friends and ended up coming back to Melbourne early so the signs are very promising for us to keep him.

He had an extended break after last season so he could go home for a while and decide what he wanted to do. He ended up soming back here early because he was missing the training and all the other guys!

I think its safe to say he will be staying here for a while yet!

How about Gardiner, Cousins and Kerr and your first three draft picks for the next five years

u can't have him, he is a hawk for life....
no matter how many players u give us, hay is worth more...
he wants to stay in melbourne anyways.

Oh thats a tough call dUtChY_rOcKs. Ken Judge might try and bribe Hay with the 'Your an East Freo boy, so you've done your time over East - come back home!"

But the Eagles have been shockers in the recruiting season. Would Hawthorn like Trent Carroll and Greg Harding? 2 for the price of 1?

gREG hARDING AND tRENT cAROLL LOL, love your style GoEagles, but only Ken Judge would consider those guys good recruits LOL LOL LOL
You may have answered your own question as to why your not improving by the way GE, recruiting has beens or never has beens from other clubs went out a decade ago, you pick these players up only when youve got some experienced players to show them the way, last year WestCoast recruited these types as the mainstays of the side! Rather than poaching Hay, why not develop some of your own youngsters, itd be cheaper and more achievable
