It's not that I don't rate him, it's just that I don't rate him higher than a number of other players on our list, and as such don't see him playing much more than a bit part this year.

I'm quite a fan of his, from the few games I have seen him play for us I have liked what I have seen -he was brilliant against the Pies in round 22, 2004!
From all training reports he is one of the harder workers on the training track so I'm quite bemused as to why he hasn't played more games.
He is a force providing run out of half back for the Northern Bullants, but by the same token got run down a few times bringing it out of defence against Collingwood in round 21, 2006.
Help me out here C4!!!

I like him and believe that his is a very hard worker and according to a few other AFl players from other clubs, whom l have spoken to, one of the fitness players in the comp.. He would had been in our best 22 in 2004, 2005 but we are a far better team now with greater depth so he will only play when others are injuried.
i like the way he runs with the ball but we now have a number of players to play that role ex Bower, Russell, Walker, Giggs?,

Sums it up well from my point of view. I like his aggression, is a mature body and has a red hot go but just misses out on that 'bit of silk' that the better players have.

Maybe Pagan will do similar to what he did L/Y - 1st part of the season give the 'older' players a bit of a go replacing with the kids if they don't perform or form slips??

I saw his misses (not sure if he still with her) about 3 years ago at a gold coast nightclub and for what it is worth I rate her.:p

Jordan Bannister the footballer has had his chances and has not taken them.

Very professional with his attitude to football and a real nice bloke. If Carlton are to improve this year like they seem headed, he will just be a back up player playing his last season and only used when you have 8 or more injuries/suspensions.

If he wasn't so nice he could be your centre enforcer, his dad was a very handy boxer and he can really give one out.

I think he is a decent attacking defender. I thought he was hard done by last year when he was dropped back to the bullants. I think his best position is HBF or BP. He main strengths are his fitness and strengh/size/speed combination and good mark. Unfortunately, he's not to good making decisions underpressure. He can play tall and small. Unfortunately, we are looking a lot better there now with Thorton, Waite, Setanta, Saddington, Bower, Hartlett competing for the tall sports and guys like Russel, Walker, Scotland, Carazzo, Anderson competing for the smaller spots. I think he will struggle but hope he does succeed if he gets some chances through injury. If he gets some confidence up, which he definitely shows in the bullants, maybe his decision making under pressure will improve and he can surprise a few.

Brodie Holland can tell you all about that........er.....actually, I don't think he could tell you much at all now I think of it........."What was the number plate of that truck....."

Banno is an honest player, sadly this means he is as good as he is gonna get. Finds the footy a bit, has some good pace, but decisions under pressure and disposal have let him down. For a 24 y.o. player to have played less than 50 games, he is placed exactly where he should be. Outside the best 22, but capable of covering a hole with competency should it be required. Probably the same situation for Saddo (though his past has been better than Banno's).
Depth players to cover injuries/suspensions.

Lucky us to have that luxury now.:thumbsu:

I don't think he is too worried about football at the moment.Apparently he is to busy taking care of Naomi Robson, not a bad catch.

Is this a joke thread? Bannister is a waste of a list space.. He won't ever be a good AFL footballer

Rate him just enough to say yes. Good type to call on when you have injuries. Usual type of player most teams have just outside their best 22 that can come in a do a job. No team has 38 superstars.
