193cm 15 year old key forward playing under 16's, was best on ground on the weekend for queensland kicking 6 goals, he is eligible to be taken by geelong under the father son when he is age ready

does anybody know much information about him?

cheers

Played in Qld under 16 team last year (born 1994). Playing U16 again this year as overage player as birthday November, rather than as bottom ager in under 18. So draft eligible next year if good enough.

Crazy athleticism and marks well overhead. Fairly light but if he gets into the gym over the summer he could push for an AFL list in the 2013. If not he is eligible for the U18 side in 2013 and would get picked up for 2014

have you seen much of him? do you rate him AFL standard?

Saw him play once or twice when he played up a grade at my old club. There's no doubt he can take a hanger on top of someone's shoulders. For AFL standard he has a bit to go but given his age like I said- get him in the weights room and on the track over the next few summers and he could be ready to contribute at a club.

oh i meant do you think that he is talented enough to play AFL football? didnt mean whether or not you think he is AFL ready yet, sorry my poor choice of words asking you the question

will be very interested to see how he goes the rest of the carnival

He played in the 16 last year and struggled but will stand out as a older player this year

Snagged another 8 on the weekend. He's 16, 17 in Nov so that means next seasons draft for the cats (if of course he want's to go there).

If we want him , what's the bet GC want him as well and of course they have dibs on 5 QLD players next year.
As discussed on our board , perhaps our best chance may well be the quality of the young talls already on the GC list eg Lynch,Day,Dixon ....
