Lots of players are making poor skill errors up there in the dewy conditions across the league.

Yeah, it's pretty universal.

Probably the front runner, Coventry family and Shaw family Of high note.

Charlie Pannam Sr enabling the careers of Ron and Lou Richards.

Josh taking the next step (which I wasn't sure he could do) has been one of the shining lights for me this season. If his brother is touted as being even better then I am excited.

Anyone else think the progression of Daicos this season makes Phillips expendable (ie: trade bait) for the right price?

I would have traded Phillips out anyway but Daics has been wonderful.

I forgot about Phillips 2 years ago

Agreed. Daics has taken his spot on the wing. And that's phillips best position. We had to play him forward. So if he wants to play wing, he may have to look elsewhere.

Excited to see his progress over next few years. Now he has the confidence knowing he can match it at the highest level. Will make him strive to be even better.

Reminds me a lot of pendles in his demeanor

Very happy with Daics this year. Easily the most improved and easily the biggest shining light for me. No matter how bad the team plays, I always know that he will be the one player (outside of Pendles) who will always try and play well. I always look forward to seeing him play, and hearing him speak about how far off he was when he was drafted, and how hard he had to work to get this stage, just makes me super proud.

As for Phillips. I reckon we should move him back onto the wing next year, and make Steele a permanent forward (or even half-back if that doesn't work). Steele and Mayne won't be around forever, and I still think Phillips at his best is one of the best wingers in the comp. Perhaps we could move him to half-back, where he started his career.

This season for Josh has been better than what anyone could have hoped for/expected.

It won’t be long before he is one of our top 10 players. He has some traits similar to Pendles (time, space, decision making etc) and is a lethal finisher.

Cant wait to see what he delivers in his first final. Might go up another level.

Sounds like someone else......Peter Daicos. Everyone remembers his father for the freak goals but was awesome through the middle, time, space, composure, skill level and on either side.

I won't get too carried away with that comparison until we start to see 70m torps.

Peter Daicos was special, I hope the torpedo makes a comeback as a genuine tactic. Just outside 50, stuff your defenses I'm going over you all.

Stop Flooding
