I was tempted to make the same thread as this - but didn't want to put my name to it 
I reckon he'll be a late inclusion for the game, but if not, I can't imagine him taking it well after playing 23 games. There's a story like this in most finals series, but I think history would show that the disgruntled players don't end up going anywhere.
I'd be really happy for West Coast to go after him if there's any discontent.

Realistically speaking, I don't think this is the same situation as the Mitch Morton as the Dogs have put a lot of development into him (especially as he was a 4th rounder in 2006) so would be reluctant to let him go. I'm assuming he is still under contract so it will take a pretty decent offer for them to even consider it.

I would consider trading Hill for a swap of first rounders if the dogs were keen on an early pick in this draft.

Certainly a trade the Dogs would accept if they were risigned to losing him but don't know if we'd do it for the sake of it. Certainly a nice, reasonable offer.

Big difference between pick 7 and pick (well, it's in the bottom 4 picks at least) though. I'd think that is a fair trade.

He had a 5-10 minute patch in the last quarter where he seemed to find a bit of spark, but he showed very little for the rest of the match. You're right, he just wasn't fired up and looked disinterested playing in the VFL.
He's a player of enormous potential, but the dogs coaching staff wouldn't have liked what they saw today.

I'd absolutely hate to see him go. He looks only 1 pre-season away from being able to hold on to the ripper marks he nearly takes. He's a very classy player but his work-rate can get sloppy, along with his consistancy. He may seek a trade and if so, it'd take a decent amount to get him.

Would be wanting more than Tarrant from Freo too as someone else suggested. Didn't realise how far up the ladder WCE had gone. Pick 15 + Hill for Pick 7 doesn't sound too good actually unless there was some way we could then trade Pick 7 + ??? for Pick 3 to get Butcher.

Hill played like a spoiled little brat yesterday for Williamstown.
Hardly sighted all game. Looked really pissed off about being dropped.

He was dropped on form, has a contract and is happy in Melbourne.
Being dropped won't be the catalyst for him to be traded.
