Any thread for this kid as i cant find anything.
 
No one has any highlights of this kid and he is meant to go 1 or 2 in this years draft.

McStay, Mayes, Taylor, Robertson, Cutler, Close and more all re-signed this year or last. Basing our last 3-4 years on just 2013 is a bit of a stretch. Aish leaving would be something we cant control, if he wants to play in a Big Four AFL club.

There some good ones and this Crop has shown more likely to stay then the lot you lost in the 2013 Trade Period.

For Lions sake you hope he Stays. His father Playing for you guys would also help

And Harris Andrews and Ryan Harwood have extended their contracts this week.

I think a lot of people need to watch when the Bushies played Stingrays, Schache was no match for Weitering or Collins. I believe he has been protected by not having to play on the two best KPD and also playing as a forward in the best side without a lot of quality opposition.
I still believe he is a top prospect for this draft but has been hugely over rated by his national carnival.
 
Was lucky enough to be in Melbourne over the weekend and got to see the the game. Ball supply was absolutely terrible yesterday. Lost count of the number of times Schache had his direct opponent trailing by at least 5 metres, only for his teammates to butcher the kick. His work rate was outstanding and on another day with better supply could have kicked 6 or 7. Weitering and Collins combined very well together,often leaving their opponent to double team Schache.

Still ticks the boxes with Josh Kennedy and Hawkins gun power forwards who needed time to develop.

Would be happy with Carlton taking Weitering and Curnow if we have picks one and two. Schache is bigger, but Stringer, Taylor Walker, Darling, Gunston and Andrew Walker have all kicked 50 goals. Paddy Cripps is roughly the same size with arguably a bigger frame.

Even Roughead can play up the ground.
 
I reckon Weitering is the better player in his posistion, however Blues will take Schache because his position is in more demand. This counts for nothing though if they get 1 and 2.

This is an interesting observation. So if Carlton had Picks 1 & 2 ... you would take Weitering and Shack or Weitering and Francis or ?

We'll take the best rated junior star like we did ten years ago. Murphy walked into our side and was a jet from day one. Schache could take just as long to breakout as Kennedy. Would build the backline if we can get Weitering, Carlisle and a young forward by trading Henderson for a pick. Weitering could play third tall like Lever who came in after being troubled by a knee reco. We be able to introduce ease him into senior footy whilst Jamison, White and Rowe are around. I can see Jaksch playing forward due to his mobility and kicking skills.
