As Josh's sponsor this year, I have been woefully bad at keeing this updated (work and family reasons), but rest assured sports fans, I am back.

Below are a couple of links to the post draft profile for Josh from the WCE website and a video of his screamer that he took during the U-18 champs.

Everything considered, we may have picked up an absolute jet at pick 37. Josh is a speedy half back flanker who could possibly remain on the outside or develop into a midfielder.

Some vids of his family's draft reaction, as well as his development since being drafted:

Ha, one season in and it seems strange that Rotham recorded a 2.92 as his combine sprint time.

Hopefully with some more development he starts to show off his jets :thumbsu:
Hopefully we start to use him as an outside mid/wing instead of a third defender once he puts on some more size.

Rotham confirmed as making his debut this weekend in the Grand Final rematch, fairly big stage but I'm sure he's up for it.

He'll be the 246th Eagle*, the fifth Josh (after Wooden, Kennedy, Hill and Smith who debuted last week), the eighth player to wear the number 35 (after McGinnity, Armstrong, Green, Crabb, Cousins, Blurton and Ugle) and by my count the 20th player from West Perth.

Players to have waited more than two years for a debut:
3 years, 17 rounds - Zach Beeck
3 years, 9 rounds - Beau Wilkesmaister
3 years, 6 rounds - Jeremy McGovern
3 years, 4 rounds - Fraser McInnes
2 years, 19 rounds - Malcolm Karpany
2 years, 18 rounds - Derek Hall
2 years, 13 rounds - David Antonowicz
2 years, 11 rounds - Ashley Hansen
2 years, 11 rounds - Aaron Edwards
2 years, 11 rounds - Blayne Wilson
2 years, 10 rounds - Callum Chambers
2 years, 9 rounds - Matt Spangher
2 years, 7 rounds - Ryan Neates
2 years, 6 rounds - Brayden Lyle
2 years, 5 rounds - Lewis Stevenson
2 years, 4 rounds - Mark Seaby
2 years, 3 rounds - Josh Rotham
