In short Judas (read: Kewell) betrayed Jesus (read: Leeds) for some silver.

:o Surely you can do better than that. Personally I'd rather loan a player first and see if he's any good than spend big money on useless South American forwards like some chap called Angel.

U obviously haven't seen Angel play. Useless last time I checked he had more goals than Mark Viduka and Alan Smith this season.

Never suggested that Viduka and Smith are world beaters but if we were to look at achievements I'm sure you'd find Viduka and Smith have done a lot more than Angel. Further to that Viduka only cost 6m and Smith was free, in other words you could almost get two Vidukas and two Smiths for the price of Angel.

Your on a sinking ship, everyone is jumping off...why dont you
Have followed Leeds for 27 years mate, don't plan on jumping off any time soon. I've probably experienced a hell of a lot more success in those 27 years than sad types like you who keep themselves warm at night by talking of tradition.

left Alpay & Angel in the wilderness,
Signed losers like Leohardson, Crouch & Kinsella [?]
Glad he resigned...can't believe we were trying to keep him!
Easy for a big man u support to come in and throw his weight around.....u from oz stam?

Kinsella isn't that bad - made Charlton tick for a while.

Angel is actually much improved of late, probably due to actually getting a game!. Saw the 1st half of City v Villa and he was getting in and showing some glimpses of skill.

Ultimately the amount of supply he gets is going to be crucial, and I dare say Villa's avenues of supply are hardly the best.

Yeah...sorry bout that. I take that back. I was ignorant enough to presume you were like every other leeds fan who just jumped on the kewell/duka bandwagon, i apologise.
The rest of your post is bull****....yes youve experienced more success, yes youve followed football for longer than ive been alive, yes you know more about football than me, still you know **** all me....when have i talked of tradition? Is that spose to mean that i follow a club that hasnt won the Prem/Div 1 in ages?!
Can you explain it to the 'dumb aussie' please.
Im not gonna comment on smith coz he still has his whole career ahead of him. Viduka cost less, has scored more [in the prem], but has had alot more starts and chances. If you go by internationals his record is terrible. Did you see him against Jamaica!

The 'tradition' line is my standard rebutt to Villa fans that has served me well in the past. ;) Occasionally at Villa Park I'll see them with some kind of banner which has tradition all over it and as my Villa friend says, "Villa is tradition with a capital T." No I didn't see him against Jamaica because to be brutally honest intl. football doesn't really interest me, however when you have muppets like Okon in midfield I don't blame him for his terrible record.

At the end of the season when Villa are a hair's breadth away from relegation and Angel has thrown his toys out of the cot again and is legging it back to South America, come back and talk to us. ;)

This "last time I looked..." argument of yours carries as much weight as Karen Carpenter.

I aint getting over colbert until we at least beat you guys at KP. The way he carried on last time giving the fist several times to the wing when you guys won just coz we boo him. What the hell does he expect? He abandoned the club in one of its darkest hours with that f*ckwit Ayres to go chase a premiership....i know lets cheer him off the ground and make him a life-time member of the club....btw this was while he was CAPTAIN!
And now all we hear from the media is how courageous he is blah blah blah....
The guy doesnt have a heart...
btw colby aint it time you jumped ship again.....roos arent getting anywhere near one..........JUDAS!

Thats all good and well, but that was for Charlton, not Villa. I haven't seen him play [due to no foxtel] but from what i hear from every villa supporter he is terrible. Then again O'Leary has revived Angel, De la Cruz & Hendrie maybe Kinsella will get his chance...

All I can say is i'll enjoy watching Robson, Shearer and co beaten again tommorow morning.
If you want a sinking ship look no further than the NUFC. Granted they'll finish ahead of Villa. Remember we finished 16th last campaign, you guys finished 3rd. At least we'll improve on our last season's effort.
Anyway Paris thanks for David O'Leary i'd much rather him controlling my ship than Peter Reid, that guy that got the sack from Sunderland.
Mark Viduka may have a better goal scoring record than JPA, but Alan Smith please. Angel might pack his bags at the end of the season but Smith does it duing the season, during games.
Anyway Lucio looks a good quality buy (clear throat).

thats rich coming from a geelong supporter!! ever seen your side win a premiership mate?? if so, you must be old and definitely wont see another!!
he is going to finish his career in grand style at north and will be remembered as a champion north player, except for all the stupid geelong supporters like you who cant move on, and cant forget about him leaving geelong.

Dolly and Reidy are two very different managers, at this moment in time I think Reidy is the best man for the (Leeds) job. I can't see him taking us to glory but he'll keep us up until we get our financial situation sorted out. If you take a look in the record books you'll see apart from his last few years at Sunderland he did a reasonable job there. As for our sinking ship, well Dolly is the very man who played a pivotal role in setting our ship on its course. I could say a few other things about him but I won't, I'll let time tell.

Fair point. I don't think Reid is a terrible manager as he did bring Sunderland from Div 1 to a top 10 side in the EPL. But i personally rate DOL very highly as a manager. Regardless of the situation he left Leeds in he did mould a relatively young team into CL semi-finalists. He did spend 18 million pound on Ferdinand and a bit on a couple of others on the way but his managerial style and tactical knowledge appears from afar to be amongst the best in the league. I think Peter Risdale is more responsible for the financial predicament Leeds have found themselves in than DOL.
It doesn't appear Villa have much but a look at there youth and reserves teams indicates they do have some young talent on the horizon (we can only hope). If we can assemble a decent squad together I think DOL is the man to lead us back into Europe.

1. KP= Kardinia Park= Skilled Stadium....duh.

2. How about having some dignity, nah expecting too much from a pack of North thugs

i never said they did have premiership medals, i said they had become more successful upon leaving geelong and even you cant possibly dispute that!!
Geelong premierships since 1964: ZERO!!!
North Melbourne premierships since 1975: FOUR...thats 4 more in 11 less years, plus all our night premierships too!!
