Surely you can do better than that. Personally I'd rather loan a player first and see if he's any good than spend big money on useless South American forwards like some chap called Angel.

U obviously haven't seen Angel play. Useless last time I checked he had more goals than Mark Viduka and Alan Smith this season.

i cant defend that
but i can try.....Graham Taylor
left Alpay & Angel in the wilderness,
Signed losers like Leohardson, Crouch & Kinsella [?]
Glad he resigned...can't believe we were trying to keep him!
Easy for a big man u support to come in and throw his weight around.....u from oz stam?

Your on a sinking ship, everyone is jumping off...why dont you
Have followed Leeds for 27 years mate, don't plan on jumping off any time soon. I've probably experienced a hell of a lot more success in those 27 years than sad types like you who keep themselves warm at night by talking of tradition.

when have i talked of tradition? Is that spose to mean that i follow a club that hasnt won the Prem/Div 1 in ages?!
Can you explain it to the 'dumb aussie' please.
Viduka cost less, has scored more [in the prem], but has had alot more starts and chances. If you go by internationals his record is terrible. Did you see him against Jamaica!
Occasionally at Villa Park I'll see them with some kind of banner which has tradition all over it and as my Villa friend says, "Villa is tradition with a capital T." No I didn't see him against Jamaica because to be brutally honest intl. football doesn't really interest me, however when you have muppets like Okon in midfield I don't blame him for his terrible record.

Kinsella isn't that bad - made Charlton tick for a while.

All I can say is i'll enjoy watching Robson, Shearer and co beaten again tommorow morning.
If you want a sinking ship look no further than the NUFC. Granted they'll finish ahead of Villa.
im not sure what this means, but ill take a guess and say you arent happy with the key position players we gave you (kingsley and mooney), whilst we are still over the moon with colby...cheers!!Originally posted by Sammy D
I aint getting over colbert until we at least beat you guys at KP.
what the hell do you expect?? you dont honestly think he is going to get down on his hands and knees and beg for forgiveness from a pack of ferils like you!! cant think for a minute why he would want to leave such a great clubOriginally posted by Sammy D
The way he carried on last time giving the fist several times to the wing when you guys won just coz we boo him. What the hell does he expect?
i would have done the same thing, and its strange isnt it how successful they have both become upon leaving petrol park!! great careers moves!!Originally posted by Sammy D
He abandoned the club in one of its darkest hours with that f*ckwit Ayres to go chase a premiership.
if you wantOriginally posted by Sammy D
...i know lets cheer him off the ground and make him a life-time member of the club
captain of what?!?! geelong?? puhleeeeeeeeze!!!! i think he would rather be on the rookie list at carlton!!Originally posted by Sammy D
....btw this was while he was CAPTAIN!
they aint wrong!! what a champion, glad to see he has learnt something at his time at arden street because those champion qualities obviously didnt come as a result of his time in geelongOriginally posted by Sammy D
And now all we hear from the media is how courageous he is blah blah blah....
thats rich coming from a geelong supporter!! ever seen your side win a premiership mate?? if so, you must be old and definitely wont see another!!Originally posted by Sammy D

Dolly and Reidy are two very different managers, at this moment in time I think Reidy is the best man for the (Leeds) job. I can't see him taking us to glory but he'll keep us up until we get our financial situation sorted out. If you take a look in the record books you'll see apart from his last few years at Sunderland he did a reasonable job there. As for our sinking ship, well Dolly is the very man who played a pivotal role in setting our ship on its course. I could say a few other things about him but I won't, I'll let time tell.Originally posted by apollo_creed
Anyway Paris thanks for David O'Leary i'd much rather him controlling my ship than Peter Reid, that guy that got the sack from Sunderland.
Fair point. I don't think Reid is a terrible manager as he did bring Sunderland from Div 1 to a top 10 side in the EPL. But i personally rate DOL very highly as a manager. Regardless of the situation he left Leeds in he did mould a relatively young team into CL semi-finalists. He did spend 18 million pound on Ferdinand and a bit on a couple of others on the way but his managerial style and tactical knowledge appears from afar to be amongst the best in the league. I think Peter Risdale is more responsible for the financial predicament Leeds have found themselves in than DOL.Originally posted by Paris75

1. KP= Kardinia Park= Skilled Stadium....duh.
dignity has nothing to do with it... i suggest you consult your nearest dictionary quickly!!Originally posted by Sammy D
2. How about having some dignity, nah expecting too much from a pack of North thugs![]()
i never said they did have premiership medals, i said they had become more successful upon leaving geelong and even you cant possibly dispute that!!Originally posted by Sammy D
3. Ummm....neither Ayres or Colby have a premiership medal hangin round their next 2000-2003...infact colby doesn't have one at all, and Ayres hasnt coached one. This year was his last chance with an aging list...
North finals since 2000: 4 Wins:1....was colbert even playing? Nah must have been injured.
wow, thanksOriginally posted by Sammy D
4.......lol....ur a really funny guy!![]()
