Is he supposed to be right for the game this week? That was a pretty bad knock and for him to stay down that long it must have been bad. Would like to see him bounce back with a huge game this week - we need it!!

It would be good to see Juddy cut loose this week :thumbsu:.

He was just starting to look like his leg speed is getting close to 100%, then he gets a head knock :(

Judd and Walker in the middle for the last third of the season could be very exciting.

I think he is hanging out for the split round myself.

A weeks rest on the legs is what he needs.

Depends on whether we're still harbouring finals ambitions or not. We cannot afford to lose to Richmond on Saturday and Judd out will be to our detriment.

I haven't heard anything along the lines of doubting he'll be right for this weekend. The dude is made out of the same from-the-future alloy composites that they make terminators from - he'll be fine.

Lloyd is lucky his own skull is made from skyscraper-foundation-grade concrete.

POW so far for mine. Nice one. :thumbsu::D

Peter Larkins knows better than that.

Concussion has different impacts on different people. The gravity of the injury also isn't related to how long or if you lose consciousness. What is a 10 minute injury to some can be a a few weeks to others. (In some cases months)

A few years ago some club's afl players were taking baseline computer cognitive function tests at the start of the year. When they suffered a head injury it was down to the change rooms onto a laptop to determine the level of impairment to the player from his baseline.

Once the player had recovered into the "safe zone" he was allowed to resume play.

Club doctors are intricately aware of "Second Impact Syndrome" its a concussion ontop of a concussion.... It has serious life altering consequences. Gridiron has recored fatalities from this..

You can find all the details you want at.

Look in the list of customers....

I'd suggest if Juddy went back onto the field , the computer said he was in the "safe zone" although from looking at the way he played some might suggest otherwise.

They will be running daily tests on him across the week to assess his improvement. If he stops "improving" he might not play.

Peter Larkins knows better than to suggest its just a few headaches. Rarely can a player return even a week after an episode at anywhere near 100% , I hope the Young Man's alright. Besides ... even a 50% Chris Judd is gonna be a handful.
