Went to the scratchy last night and was impressed by a few blokes. But fair dinkum what about Judd.

When people question why we didnt take polak ahead off Judd - the answer is succinct and sweet "simply Judd"

He was awsome. His body has developed into a 190 cm ( must be at about 90kg's now) speed freak with silky kemp like skills.

He's gonna tear them up in 2004. If he stays fit, he'll be a showin for the brownlow imo.

Also impressed with staker, johnson and lynch. I though lynch was quite mobile when on the ball.

About halfway through the intraclub last night, i was beginning to seriously wonder if there is anyone in the league who can handle this season's incarnation of the Juddster. It just felt like a privilege to be watching him play- if he translates that sort of form onto the field, we're talking Brownlow medals, and (just to take a giant leap ahead of ourselves) perhaps one of the greatest players of our time- Fricking huge, lightning fast untackleable behemoth, in the elite category in terms of fitness, size, strength, speed, and skills. A McLeod/Harvey hybrid with a sprinkling of Koutafides. Fear him.

Judd is better equipped to play taggers this year. Judds weakness being a young player is he went in and out of games for periods.... but this year he looks to be able to just run all day long like a Buckley or Voss. Good luck with taggers trying to keep him quiet for whole games now.

Give em a break, this time of year is always exciting. :)

And in all honesty, he did look a cut above eh.

But yes, its not like he was up against an intense tagger (Embers was on him for a bit but generally they ran off each other).
It is great to see some positive signs at this time of year, and his bulky frame and apparantly touch more height were impressive - also the fact that this seemingly has had no effect on his pace.

I'm sure you'll see some very comforting signs at the Dockers intra-club too.

Yes... give them another chance to stand up and cheer off the players like hero's when one of the Dockers sides loses by 11 goals again :D

Judd was very impressive. As if he couldn't have been enough before!!! But for him to have bulked up AND gotten faster is pretty incredible! Can't wait for the season to start!

Was it Humm who tackled him (or someone with blonde hair) because I think he actually did get tackled near goal.
 
from what i've been reading this could be a very exciting season.

the guy has freakish ability, and his only gonna get better.

btw moo, sorry for us showing some enthusiasm about the season :)
 
Au ...Sorry for raining on your parade girly girl ....but it is still no excuse to throw your toys down.. also ...your first witty repertoire wasnt enough so you come back again ...or was your first and second posts interuppted by your afternoon nap?

At least BJJ and D-G had a go based on something other than its my board and I'll rave if I want to.

For the record I'm sure he did look good and I will also throw a few pebbles when our fans declare Schammer is the next Voss because he ran past someone outside our best 22.

I just get a bit over the declearation of champions well before they have actually done anything of note ...Judd may well want to learn to break a tag first, if has bulked up good sign.

If you want a board where you sit around and pat each others bums with no differing opinions ....have your moderator knock me off (I'm sure I'll fill the void in my life somehow). However you may find that I actually do add to some debates.

Now be a good little girl and run off and play with your Benny and Gardy dolls ....sorry action figures.

Why does almost every topic have to degenerate into this childish name calling!

Juddamania, It was Jeremy Humm who tackled Juddy near goal. They scrapped on the ground for what seemed ages. One thing about Hummy, he never gives in. I hope he can cement a place in the team this year.

Correct me if i'm wrong, but aren't your lot declaring that Clive is going to 'take the league by storm' on the basis of his form at training, several weeks *before* your intraclub?!

I was going to have 100 on Benny for Brownlow this year... but the Judsters got me thinking otherwise... lol

Maybe it should be 100 on Cous and Judd taking it out jointly ;)

And be fore all your Dorkers respond to that last remark it was said in jest. Better not get too excited on our own board with all these docker moderators floating around.

Humm's great how he's pretty ballsy, he's not afraid to go in and tackle! If he's stepped up maybe we'll be able to destroy opponents' foward lines:D

I loved Buzz's site as I could offer my opinion and it was normally respected ...sometimes I have stir but it is in good nature.

Was never asked at Buzz's to nick off however I dont appear to be talking to the same crowd ....so as all good folk do who are accussed of trolling .....I bid you adieu!

Just quietly Moo... I think they have a little more to get carried away with. I mean Clive may be a tortured "sometimes" genius, but I think young Mr Judd may have the wood on him. Just. Ssshhhh.
 
I'm getting a little tired of Eagles fans not being able to talk excitedly amoung their own on here without snide comments.

I don't know how many Eagles fans frequent the Dockers board, but if it's anything like the amount of Freo people that are regulars on this board perhaps we all need to take a step back and occasionally "leave it out".

No Docker person HAD to put a snide comment in here. It's a free country, but can't we have the chance to talk amoungst ourselves without someone feeling the need to "bring us down a peg or 2" ?

No moderation really needed, just a bit of courtesy in my book.
