AHA funnily enough the jumper changes went well in time with the music I was listening to at the time. Was fun to watch but isnt going to happen. We would have to offer too much (ie. Gibbs + another good player) and it wouldnt be worth it

Right... so you wouldn't take the best player in the competition now, because possibly at some stage down the track you might need the salary to re-sign players who may possibly be nearly but not quite as good.

Some of you have to realise that to get qaulity you have to give up qaulity.

Trading 3 average players or players like Walker doesn't equate to one great player, + there's the issue of fitting them into the squad.

We'd want Murphy [to try and replace Judd] + plus you're first round pick at the minimum [i.e. We'd probably want the above plus the upgrade of draft picks and etc]

However most of you'll say 'well, if you won't take 'Walker + 1st year rookie' then leave it.' But the only way you'd get him then is through the PSD, and my taking that route, you'd be admitting you're bottom 2 material

Walker and Murphy are untradeable. You might as well ask for the moon.

Id be prepared to be bottom 2 material if it meant we landed Chris Judd.

I think he will come home. All the talk about waiting to the end of the season is just fattening the bank balance.

He is the best player in the comp. But we dont need champion players. We are developing a champion team. There is a difference. You would have to offer Judd a 1996 Kouta deal to get him over the line. And that ain't going to happen again! Maybe Sir Richard can get him a job at Visy????

I would not give up, under any circumstance, Walker, Murphy, Gibbs, Kennedy, Simmo, Blackwell, T-Bird, Russell etc. We are on an upward curve, we are trying to rebuild the fabric of the club. We have made our youngsters believe in the cause. We have made them believe in themselves again. It is now time for a unified Club to stand along side our new exciting Blue generation. We have more than enough future Juddy's......
