Not hooking back up with deadbeats will be the next habit to break.
This is a huge reason many addictions are hard to beat, if its in your circle, or the reasons you're hooked are all around you.

The young bloke will need a ton of support.

I knew a bloke who bet heroin, which is a **** of a drug. He got professional help, he moved to another city, he had a great mrs, and he had a will of iron. Still clean 20 years later, or last I heard anyway.

“Geelong star”?
Think I’m gunna be sick…
Don't worry. Next time he gets caught with a bag it will be 'troubled former Bulldog'

The lack of negative media attention he gets is beyond hilarious.

Jack Ginnivan has a few waters at the pub, and it's ten times the catastrophe.
Ginni, DeGoey, Tobe Greene etc must be sitting back thinking "What the **** do i have to do to get away with shit like this bloke?"

Stephen May had one quiet beer by himself at a pub and was run over coals for it a few years ago.

Footy media is mental.

I think we all know the answer as to why JUH is not getting the heat the others get.
If you're referring to race, then that's not the case, as JUH (Indigenous) and Bailey Smith (Anglo) get the same favourable media treatment.

My theory - is that JUH and Bailey are addicts, whereas Ginnivan, De Goey and Greene are not.

Players are annointed specified roles in the media narrative, and once developed, are very hard to change. Beyond a certain point, Fev could never really change the narrative despite some top quality on field performance. Ginnivan is the same; his card (for now at least) is marked.

Straight swap for Oscar Allen.

I think if the Hawks win the grand final and Ginnavin plays well the media will recast him as a lovable larrikin type

I predict no club has shown any interest and he has had to go back to the Dogs with his tail in-between his legs.
I genuinely don't think he has had a problem with being at the Dogs. He's had problems with being an AFL footballer.

His absences in pre-season were not driven by himself, the players told him to stay away because of his behaviours during the previous season and off season

Yep. He just got driven off course by external influences trying to leech off him.

I hope he figures it out
