Eagles Ansett junper is predominantly gold so will clash with Hawthorn, regardless of whether Hawthorn has traditional or ansett jersey

Should there be a rule about jumper clashes - I don't think making one team wear white shorts is enough

Damn right it's not enough!

The AFL should force under penalty of death ALL clubs to design alternats strips.

Seriously though I think the AFL has finally woken up and asked for the clubs to design new strips for next year. Time will tell if all the clubs will take any notice. Since the AFL owns EVERY clubs traditional strip they would seem to have the upper hand.

This is a situation which has gone on far far too long, it's time for the competition to jump into the 21st. century.

Hawthorn hd no jumper clashes until the eagles changed theirs.

There should be a rule that a team cannot use it's 'alternante' jumper to force a club to change form it's traditional one.

Essendon and Collingwood have refiused anyway. Together they are responsible for 75% of the jumper clashes.
