just thought I would put it out there to see if anybody on your board can confirm this, or knows anything of it?

Apparantly, they have appraoched him with a 3 year deal for $2.4mil?

Fletcher is a gun and probably in AA form, but he couldnt go round another 3 seasons could he?

And if so, do you guys have the cap room to be able to get anywhere near that offer from GC17?

Money may talk but with a player of his character and integrity, after 17 years at his one and only club (and the club his father also played for), wouldn't be bothered with such an offer. Yeah it's only a rumour but even if this had a remotely small amount of truth to it I think Fletch knows either this year or next will be his last in AFL football... and they will be played with Essendon.
