Despite the result, I still enjoyed it! In the end, the bigger bodies of the Cats just ran over young Suns. I'm sure this was a great learning curve for our young boys, and will go down well.

Was a better game than I thought it'd be from the Suns to be honest, but yeah. Cats turned it on to show why they're the best team right now. Hope you guys liked Metricon, whomever went. Geelong just too good!

Cheers mate. It was a great first half you guys played. Whilst some in here will seek to take the easy step of simply bagging our own players, I think your intensity and attack was first rate.

The improvement from your game 1 round 2 vs Blues is there for all to see.

Yeah, thanks...................although the Cats were pretty poor in the first half.....my mate that was at the game stated......embarassing. But in the end we did what most thought and just rolled over the Suns. From reports, nice stadium and having a great time up there......to be honest......I am looking forward to the return game against the Suns at Skilled! Far from important.....but just something to look forward to.

I've just seen the replay on 10 (they delay it by 3 hours in Sydney), and have changed my view of that first half (I listened to the game on K-Rock originally).

Seeing it brought home to me the fact that your lot won it more than we lost it, so all credit to your boys. I thought that our third quarter response was also a tribute to you, as it took that sort of effort for us to get the anticipated result. Good opposition draws the best performances from champions, and your team certainly challenged our credibility.

The GCFC will win far more than 2 games this year, and as those lads mature as men and players, you're going to become truly frightening.

Looking forward to the rematch already!

Was there last night, and was very impressed all round. Metricon looks nothing short of fantastic, so much of an improvement on the old Cararra Stadium!
The Suns showed form, class, determination and skill in the opening half and I'm glad they got to show their fans signs of things to come right from their first moments on their home ground.

we should enjoy these wins now because in a year or two the suns will be hard to beat once their talent is hitched to mature bodies ( and brains)
