We find ourselves at the pointy end of Season 2, and the two powerhouses of the home-and-away season, the Seventh Wonders and the Hurricanes, battle it out in the 2nd Semi Final. One week ago these sides faced off, with the ladder leading Wonders claiming a 25 point victory. Prideful as they are, the lineups of both teams are to be unchanged for this most mouth-watering final! Let's take a look at who's taking the field.

The Wonders are again running with the tactic of playing several lions on the field, this proving so proficient over the last seven games where they have only dropped one game. They also boast soon-to-be Mobbs and FRED Medalist BT in the ruck. But there's talent all over the park for the 'Canes, with All-SweetFA caliber players in HahnPremium, iceman, Thrawn and Mobbs serving all parts of the ground.

The ball had not even been bounced and through some sly and foreshadowing it was already apparent that we were in for an epic.

Despite some inaccuracy, the Hurricanes have been putting the reigning champs to the sword, up 21 at the half. But with a Grand Final berth on the line, you could be sure that the Wonders would come out swinging. Sure enough the lead began to evaporate, with the trademark Seventh lightning hands in tight.

3 : 24.37 - QUICK HANDS TO LIONSFOREVER UNDER PRESSURE.

Still though, it was 17 points the difference at the final break, and while stingy, the scoring power of the Wonders was largely unproven this season. Cunningly, they came up with an unprecedented plan, having Roylion sneak off from the huddle and onto the field before anyone any players or umpires had resumed position.

That was 100% my takeaway from this. Hall of Fame induction a formality this season you'd have to say.
