I hope I'm right but I have the feeling Kade Simpson is just about to arrive as a player at senior level. For the first time on Friday night he looked at home playing against men. No longer poushed off the pill Simpson hit the packs hard and a defining moment in the last term when he beat Shane Crawford in a one on one contest on the the wing was exceptional. Lets hope he can build on that performance against the Tigers on Saturday. His run and superb skills are important in our side that is often riddled with mistakes.

I'm still not convinced. That intercepted handball was very Wiggins-ish.
As opposed to a fistful of Stevens clangers, intercepts and turnovers?

And Wiggins wasn't very Wiggins-ish on Friday either. Or maybe he was and the turnovers are not his true worth.

All kidding and bias aside Funkster, you must admit that it is good to see the young unproven players showing the older heads how to do it for a change.

i believe it was vandenburg not crawford he pantsed ..
still a great effort .. well done slimmo

Friday nights game would have to have been one of the worst games in recent history. Two very ordinary sides going about their business.

and that is relevant to this thread on kade simpson how?

anyway, I reckon Kade showed some glimpses of his ball winning abilities we hear so often about in the VFL. Yea he seems to turn it over occassionally but that is just a matter of stepping up and bridging the gap between the two levels and becoming accustomed to the increased pressure ... yes easier said then done, but he looks like he could be a good player if he can string a few games in the 1s together.

you have denigrated wiggins on every possible occasion , what is your problem ...did he knock you back or something ?? because you obviously know nothing about footballers
as for simpson he looks like he is going to be a player

It's both good and bad ODN. As much as I've enjoyed seeing our young players step up, I'm also ********ed off with some of our senior players. I can't believe I'm saying this, but they're the ones who have been holding us back this season. Disgraceful really.... Senior players should be leading by example on the footy field.

On a liter note though, I deadset nearly slipped into a coma when I saw Wiggins.... in the last quarter.... drill the ball on his left boot..... onto the chest of.... Lance Whitnall!
I'll never live that one down... :p
