Just spotted Tom Hawkins at Eastern Beach getting in his kayak to begin the trip to Aurora Stadium. I wish him a speedy trip.
Ps - apparently John Howard asked Tommahawk to do something about the water shortage, and it has been steadily falling here since.

Nice work fellas.

I also saw Charlie Gardiner attempting to make the journey. He was swimming.

He attempted to dive in the water, missed and dove face first into the Geelong pier.

I think he'll miss 4-5 weeks with a broken nose.

Just on Charlie, isn't it ironic that he is going to have his best ever season and then get delisted!:confused:
 
Mark Blake is attempting to handstand walk across, as he refuses to use his feet.

Cameron Ling will get halfway across, before stopping to go sideways.

Cam Mooney will be a little late as he will be stopping at every shark he sees to lay a shepherd.

Andrew Mackie will try to swim...only to be taken out to sea in the most pissweak rip you've ever seen.

As long as they all get across...you could say we beat the flood. *badoom tish*

So...I've been drinking :o

Blake has sunk just after the second sandbank. The big fella was paddling like nothing else but just refused to kick!!
