Just downloaded Kazaa lite 2.4.2, and I can't seem to connect to the network. Any ideas why? Should I download an older version?

I dont know, all is working for me. But I have 2.4.1 installed.

I downloaded it before and it looks better but I have made a few searches and it looks like it has less stuff?

I've uninstalled, reinstalled, manually deleted it, installed an older version, cleaned registry, reset internet settings, reinstalled modem drivers, ran Norton scans, defragged, deleted cookies... I did everything under the sun, but the problem remains. I can open KAZAA, but cannot connect to the network.
Help plz.

KaZaa did the same to me when I reformatted my computer. I installed the same version I had on CD from before I reformatted, but no matter what I did, it wouldn't connect!
I just decided to cut my losses and uninstall KaZaa and install KaZaa Lite. It worked a treat as well, as KaZaa Lite is everything KaZaa is yet without ads.

i just noticed u tryed to install kazaa lite. im lost for ideas then.
maybe back up your stuff on cd or zip disk and do a reformat of the hdd.

Well Kazaa lite 2.4.3 is now out from http://www.kazaalite.tk/. What sort of Internet connection have you got and who is it with? Some small ISP's may block the relevant port. Make sure you change your username away from anything to do with kazaalite. Sounds like you've done everything else that I can think of.

Bah! To hell with Kazaa! It would take me a week to download the thing i want anyway (am on the look out for the Wing Commander series, if anyone knows a place I could purchase/download it).

If you are at Uni, you aren't allowed to use Kazaa. Do a google search or go to http://cybershackonline.com
This thread is old anyway, but still to emphasise a point...I don't think he was looking for a lesson on morals Suzi. No one in general cares about such offences except pedantic little squealers (perhaps like yourself???)...

Nope. There is a ban in place at the campus that I go to. They even have scary warnings up on red paper with black writing telling us that if we are caught using Kazaa or any chat program that our accounts would be banned from us for 2 weeks.
